Instruments
This app is great and I have been using it for a few years now. The biggest problem is it needs someone who manufactures wind and speed instruments to come up with a package that can be added to your boat without all of the costly displays associated with marine electronics.
Is there anyone out there working on a solution to this?

Don't know more about it, and don't know if it's compatible, but it looks promising.
Check out the Airmar PB-200
Check out the Airmar PB-200 met station it's a little expensive by itself, but its a nice small package that will give you NMEA strings of all the data you need;- has pitch/roll/accelerometer plus GPS and Ultrasonic Wind speed and direction - TWS/TWA, AWS/AWA, COG, SOG. Since it gives you a NMEA string, all you have to do is broadcast it. I'm going to try it - will let you know if I succeed.
